yes. i am still alive. i've updated with a couple of pieces. now, how have i been?

the collage that i entered in the generation peace contest [link] didn't win. it didn't even get honorable mention. hell, i won that contest last year with a much less popularly liked piece of art! [link] oh, well. i guess that's the way it goes.

i think i failed the ap japanese exam. i'm just lame like that. but we'll see... yeah, it was a bitch, ya'know?

so, tomorrow i have us history exam and monday i have my comparative religion exam. (why am i only taking my two history exams? who knows!)

i've been working on a new tarot set. but i'm taking the series all in one chunk. so, i have pencil drawings for cards #1-5. i'm really stuck on #6. oh, and i've already used a photo of rachael and one of janna for this series. i didn't think you'd mind, but when i put them up here, you two must tell me if you don't want them used. if you do tell me you don't want them used, i will re-do the specific cards... (just a little spoiler: janna, you're the empress and rachael, we're the lovers. oh, and rachael is also technically the high priestess, but she doesn't look much like you anyway...)

i've been hooked on cnn lately. i'm really pumped for this weekend. sunday is the democratic debate and tuesday is the republican debate. i consider myself a republican, but i am a liberal. since most politicians define themselves by their specific policies rather than the dogma of their political groups these days, i am registered as an undecided. i'm pretty sure that means i can pick a primary to participate in, and i'd really like to be able to make an informed decision in one primary or the other, depending on how the debates go.

i didn't get a gallery show that i applied for... i don't know if i've told anyone other than zac about that one... but there you go.

blood drive time makes me wonder if i made the right decision to give up my right to donate blood. does anyone (if you're still reading this, you must have been pretty bored to start with) have any strong feelings about giving blood? i feel like it's important to my parents; my mom can't give blood and my father does it as often as he can. i suppose i am glad i gave blood before i waved my right to donate.

almost forgot! i have an internship at goldworks (you know, that jewelry store in university mall) and a summer job tutoring silver moon's daughter carina in painting. she's really into monet. oh, yeah! we're gonna have fun!

i know i'm getting a copy of an ancient muse (loreena mckennitt) for a graduation present. i'm going shopping for a swimsuit ( and some 'toys' ) on saturday! oh, yeah!

okay, i'm sorry if you're zac (because i've already told you most of this...) but i'm done now. i'll be keeping better track of devart over the summer. fo' real.
